About the Digital Media Repository

The Digital Media Repository, a project of the Ball State University Libraries, provides a centralized, coordinated, and user-focused resource to serve the teaching, learning, and research needs of students, faculty, and researchers at Ball State and beyond. It serves as a platform to bring together the digital collections and activities of the University Libraries in a single, cohesive, and accessible Web-based environment that also provides access to external digital resources to support the educational process.

Ball State University Libraries' Digital Collections derive in part from physical documents housed within the University's Archives and Special Collections, Andrew Seager Archives of the Built Environment, or at partnering museums, libraries, historical societies, and similar institutions. These materials are made broadly and publicly accessible as part of the historical record and for educational purposes.

Many of the Seager Archives' collections have been either fully or partially digitized and are accessible by researchers anywhere in the world, 24/7, via the Digital Media Repository.
