ENG 601 - Dr. Huff - Fall 2021

A selection of guides - Joseph Roberts' guides shared during class

Here are links to a few course guides created by Joseph Roberts. They were all created for students in a specific class, to help them research an assignment for that class. They include a lot of text - mostly research tips.

Here are links to a few subject guides created by Joseph. They are for more general use and feature less text.

Here are two "pathfinders" Joseph created as handouts.

A selection of guides - other guides shared in class

These guides were created by librarians at Ball State. The marketing guide is an example of how the "organizing by type/format" approach can be used in a very different discipline with different kinds of research tools. The Black Lives Matter guide is an example of how much a guide creator can do with a more specific topic than "literature" or "mythology." The literature reviews guide is a good example of how guides can be used to share information about a research process.

These guides were created at other libraries. They provide additional interesting examples of research guides.
