Welcome to the Vocal Music Research Guide! This guide collects resources on all aspects of vocal performance and pedagogy across different genres and singing styles. At the Diction and Pronunciation page, performers can find information about the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) as well as recommended books on diction. The Texts and Translations page, meanwhile, points toward libretti and other sung texts in their original languages, translated into English, and with pronunciation guides.
