Searching for Library Materials in OneSearch

‚ÄčOneSearch lists all materials accessible to Ball State students, faculty and staff, plus some that are available only via Interlibrary Loan.  Follow these steps to find what you need:

For Books:

Use keywords to create a set of results, for example Verdi Trovatore.  From the results page, narrow to Library Catalog for books in the Music Collection, and to Book / eBook.  The top results should be the most relevant to your topic.  OneSearch displays the format (physical or full text), the call number, and availability.  Use the green cell phone icon to text the call number to your phone.

For Recordings:

OneSearch lists compact discs in the Music Collection ("Music Recording" content type) and recordings available through Naxos Music Library (NML).  Note:  NML recordings are not included when you refine your search to "Library Catalog," though you do need to authenticate your relationship to Ball State University in order to listen via NML.  Click "Streaming Audio" to search the NML catalog.  You can search for Music Collection CDs and NML streaming recordings together using the Content Type filter:
