Library Resources for Dual Credit Students and Faculty

This guide will give you information on how to access the resources the Ball State University Libraries offers to dual credit students and faculty.

Connecting Your Class to Library Resources

As high school dual credit faculty, you have many ways to reach out to students with library resources.

See details in the boxes below about the following options:

  • Request Library Instruction using the Online Form.
  • Using videoconferencing software, a librarian can present library resources to your class remotely. Contact us if you are interested.
  • Librarians can create a library guide website similar to this one with resources specifically geared to your class.
  • Students can get in touch with a librarian through our Ask-a-Librarian service and can make Skype/WebEx research appointments with librarians through our Reference by Appointment online form.

Instruction Requests

If you would like to visit Bracken Library with your class, contact us to set up a visit.

Another option will be to schedule a virtual instruction session in which a librarian can speak to your class remotely using Zoom, WebEx, or Mediasite.

  • To request an instruction session, go to the Online Form.
  • Let us know as early as possible so that we can request the appropriate technology.

Research Help Appointments for Students

Your students can make individual or small group research consultation appointments to talk with a librarian.

  • Students may go to the Ask-a-Librarian page and fill out an online form to request a research appointment
