If you are traveling to a country where people speak a different language than you know or you want to brush up on your language skills, then you may want to search for language resources using OneSearch. Below are links to some of the many resources that you can access before you leave.
If you are not sure what languages are spoken in the country you are going to, then check out Ethnologue: Languages of the World.

Before you leave for your study abroad adventure, you may want to check out some movies or music CDs about the places you are going to visit. Some of these movies are in English, and some are in other languages.
To search for movies or CDs:
1. Go to OneSearch and enter keywords into the search box. You can search by keywords (ex. culture, Spain, etc.) or by a specific movie title (ex. Amelie). If you do not have a topic or specific movie or musician in mind, then you can click search and browse the titles provided.
2. Press enter, or click on the magnifying class.
3. Select Video Recording or Music Recording under Content Type in the left column. You may have to click on More at the bottom of the Content Type list to find them on the list.
