Searching for Photographs in the Digital Media Repository

The Digital Media Repository contains hundreds of photographs depicting buildings, sites, structures, people, and events in Muncie. Searching in the DMR is easy! Just remember these tips:

  • When searching a phrase with multiple words, be sure to include quotation marks with your search terms. For instance, searching "Jackson Street" will ONLY return results including the entire phrase Jackson Street. Searching that phrase without the quotation marks will return results that include either the word Jackson OR the word Street.
  • Keep in mind that photographs might not include "Old West End" in their title or description. Try searching by a street name, address, or building name.
  • Is there another keyword you've come across relating to the Old West End? Give that a try, too!

You can search across ALL items in the DMR with a generic keyword search, or you can search within specific collections. (See recommended photograph collections below)
