Generally it is easier to research a company that is publicly traded or at least a well known company. So before you select a company you might want to check to see if your company is public or private. Use the sources below to see what you can find about your company.
Use the Company Dossier to determine if the company is a public company. Do a Company Dossier search by clicking on Menu near the top of the page and select Company Dossier. Enter your company name or ticker symbol and click on the search button. Look for your company on the results list, it will tell you whether is public or private.

Use the Company Profiles to find basic information about your company. You will find the Company Profiles under More above the search box. You might also look for articles on your company to see what has been written about it. Just enter your company's name in the search box. If there is something that you would like to find out about the company add a keyword or short phrase into the search.
