Finding articles
Use one of the databases below to search for credible information related to you weekly topics. For example, say you want to write about the war in Ukraine and the supply chain. You could do a search such as Ukraine AND "supply chain"
You would then look at the records for relevant articles and revise your search using the terms that relate to main the concepts. Let's say that when you looked at the article record you see they use "supply chains." Since we used "supply chain" (no "s" on the end), we would revise our search by putting Ukraine in the top box and OR "supply chain" with "supply chains" in the second box in the database. - Business Source Complete This link opens in a new windowThis database will provide both news and in-depth research on your topics. You can use the Source Types limits in the left-hand column of the results list to narrow results to articles from magazines, newspapers, trade publications, or academic journals. To find more in-depth research, you may want to limit to academic journals. In this case you might consider looking for articles about supply chains anywhere, not just Ukraine.

- Nexis Uni This link opens in a new windowLots of major newspapers, business resources, as well as magazines. Do a search using the big search box and limit to newspapers, magazines, etc. using the Publication Type limits in the left column of the results list.

Search or browse current of online editions of popular news publications. Note that many of these are also included in Business Source Complete searches (see the Finding articles box above).
- ForbesWill allow you to read some articles for free. Can also access articles in Business Source Complete.
- ReutersAccess to more than 2 million news articles. It will ask you to register as a certain amount of use. Includes business, market, and world news.
- Harvard Business ReviewSome articles are free. This is also available in Business Source Complete.
- Bloomberg BusinessweekMay allow you to read a few articles for free. Can also access articles in Business Source Complete.
