At Ball State, the GIS Research and Map Collection (GRMC) in Bracken Library, offers a suite of services and support for all geospatial endeavors by our students, faculty and staff.
Members of the BSU community can request geospatial software, use both local and global datasets maintained on the libgis data server, receive one-on-one consultation, request topic specific classroom instruction sessions and have access to our 28 station GIS computer lab.
As of August 3rd, the GRMC will be open by appointment only. Please call 765-285-1097 or send an email to grmc@bsu.edu to schedule your visit.
We like to keep our GIS community up-to-date on the latest software upgrades, upcoming GIS events and licensing issues through our outlook group: BSU_GisKG (Ball State GIS Knowledge Group).
Contact the GIS Specialist if you would like to be added to this group.
The GIS Research and Map Collection staff are here to support all of your GIS endeavors. We provide consultation services for every level of GIS research and project, and can get you started off with correct software, methods and data to make your project a success.
