Finding Credible Articles

Here are some notes about search terms to use for your topics.  Use Business Source Complete or Art Index, both of which are linked above, to find articles about your topics.  Use quotes around phrases.  Use one or more of the OR'd terms in your search.  ORing fashion OR "fashion industry" OR clothing OR "clothing & dress" OR "clothing industry" in a seperate search box may be helpful, especially with topics in the table below with an asterisk after them.

AI* "Artificial Intelligence" OR AI  Could OR examples of AI (e.g. ChatGPT).  Could use AI issues such as displacing designers, its affect on human creativity, the use of its trend prediction capabilities to enable fast fashion.  AI can also be used in possitive ways to help make production less wasteful.
Body image/advertising Put body image in one search box and advertising in another box.  Could also add "body image" OR "self image" OR "self perception" OR "well being" OR shame.  You could also search in PsycInfo for articles on this topic.
Counterfeit* "product counterfeiting" OR forgery OR "bootleg goods" OR bootlegs OR "commercial product counterfeiting" OR "counterfeit goods" OR "counterfeiting of products" OR "forgery of products" OR "passing off product counterfeiting"
Environment sustainability* "environmental responsibility" OR "environmental, social, & governance factors" OR "Social responsibility" OR “corporate accountability” OR “corporate citizenship” OR “corporate responsibility” OR “corporate social accountability” OR “corporate social responsibility” OR CSR “social responsibility” OR “social responsibility of industry” OR "corporate image".
Fast fashion "fast fashion"  A related term would be "Sustainable fashion".  A phrase search for fast fashion returns about 2,000 articles; ORing it with sustainable fashion returns more than 3,600 articles.  There isn't a subject entry for either of these in Business Source Complete but the term is used in the Subject field.
Fur fur OR "fur garments" OR "animal fibers" OR "hide & skins" OR "leather jackets" OR "leather industry" OR "sea otter skin"
Labor issues* There isn't a single term for labor issues, so use examples of issues that reflect the specific topic that interests you.  There are terms for "child labor" OR "factory safety" OR "forced labor" OR "industrial safety" OR "Work environment" OR "Quality of work life".

Sourcing*/ Supply Chain*

Use "industrial procurement".  Related terms include "sustainable procurement" OR "supply chains" OR "textile industry" OR suppliers OR "strategic sourcing" OR "textile industry" OR "cotton manufature" OR "textile product manufacturing"
Technology* Technologies which automate the manufacturing process can help reduce the use of child labor (see Labor issues above).  Technology can also aid in tracking the supply chain and help provide transperancy (see sourcing above).  Use of AI may have ethical implications (see AI above).  Technology can be used to make manufacturing less expensive and makes fast fashion more feasible. 
Trade wars* Use "International trade disputes".  Related terms would include "international economic relations" OR "international Trade" OR tariffs OR "export subsidies"
