In 2018, Ball State University Libraries launched a web archiving program that preserves and provides access to archival copies of select websites relevant to Muncie and Delaware County, Ball State University, and the Indiana architecture community. This web archive will collect snapshots of selected websites, collected at regular points in time, to capture and preserve culturally and historically significant information for future researchers.
While the web is continually changing and challenging to preserve, the Libraries’ web archiving program provides an easy-to-use tool for preserving and viewing archival websites as a complementary service to our campus and community partners.
