You may visit the GRMC on the east side of the second floor of Bracken Library. The staff will be happy to help you find more maps related to your topics. Due to room occupancy limits, you will be greeted at the door and may have to return later if the occupancy limit has been reached.
For any questions or to request copies of any maps, please call 765-285-1097 Monday through Friday from 8 to 5.

Melissa Gentry, Map Collections Assistant, has located and shared many maps with you on the link above. Here is some information about how to access the maps:
- Your country will be listed in the “Country maps” folder. Click on the three vertical dots and then select 'Download' to save the map. You may then print off the image or insert it into a Word document or PowerPoint presentation. Maps from atlases include the atlas title in the file name.
- World and regional maps from atlases describing various issues can also be found here in a folder called “Social topics.”
- Use the “blank color maps” folder to create a custom map. Open the PowerPoint version of these regional maps; add labels; add clip art and photographs.
Websites with map resources
- World MapperCountries are re-sized on the map according to the subject of interest. Click on “MAPS” to see the list of topics covered on the maps. Maps can be saved as PDFs.
- United NationsThe United Nations has a cartographic section with quality PDF-format maps of countries, regions, conflicts, and missions.
- World Health OrganizationThe World Health Organization features a map gallery depicting health issues around the world.
- National GeographicNational Geographic publishes country guides including maps and photographs on its site. Just type the country name in the search box on the home page for a list of available articles and maps.
- ESRI Cool MapsThis map gallery includes maps that show several current trends, including international migration. For example, one of the maps shows countries ranked in order of happiness based on a 2013 report.
