Open Pedagogy operates on the principle that not only should reference texts and materials be open, but so too should all the associated products of scholarship. In fields where ideas build on one another, fewer restrictions lead to greater access and innovation. Student assignments don't need to be turned in, graded, and discarded; they can grow as the student continues their development, or when picked up and remixed by someone else.
