- Google ScholarGoogle's Scholar search identifies research articles available online. Some may be available by subscription only, so be sure to check with a librarian about possible free options.
For Academic Research
As an MCS employee, you have on-campus access to these academic article databases (and many others). For scholarly research articles in education, the most useful databases are:
- ERIC (EBSCOhost)This database contains citations to books, journal articles, research reports, and dissertations in education and some related fields.
Some items are available in full text format and some will require interlibrary loan requests. - Web of ScienceWeb of Science is an important resource for advanced research. Despite its name, it includes resources in varied disciplines and allows users to see how many times and where articles have been cited.
