Example of Use

The prompt "How many years did the Roman Empire last?" was asked in Gemini, ChatGPT, and Google.

Gemini specified that the "end" of the Roman Empire depends on how the questioner defines it. It separates the Western and Eastern Roman Empires and gives an end date and number of years for both.

Gemini Roman Empire

ChatGPT gives the number of years in the beginning and then goes into the years it was active. It separates the Western and Eastern Roman Empires and gives end dates for both. However, it does not give the Eastern Roman Empire an overall amount of years.

ChatGPT Roman Empire

Google gives a start and end date and an approximation of years without specifying Western or Eastern Roman Empire

Google Roman Empire Response

All results have the same first end date; however, Gemini and ChatGPT have differing answers from Google for a starting date. ChatGPT and Gemini gave remarkably similar answers, the only difference being the format they're given in. The Google results pulled up a website called "study.com" to get the answer. The website includes a 7-minute video about the Roman civilization, recommendations for essay prompts, and an overview and timeline; however, these can only be accessed by making an account.

ChatGPT and Gemini give very to-the-point answers, while Google gives a short answer at the beginning but also provides links if more information is needed.
