About this guide

This guide will help students gather sources for their assignments in Dr. Vandiver's Honors 390 course, Politics of Bitcoin and Cryptoassets. The guide provides links to resources useful for finding background information and financial journalism on topics relevant to the course.

The guide is organized into four additional pages:

"Background information" includes resources for finding encyclopedia-like sources, which are useful for basic factual information and explanations of concepts.
"Financial journalism" includes resources that contain authoritative but non-scholarly news reporting about cryptoassets and other monetary topics, for instance from publications like Fortune or Forbes.
"Additional sources" includes resources for finding more formal sources, such as articles from scholarly journals.
"Help and tips" includes information about useful library services, including research support.
