Bracken Library Resources
"General Collection" Items designated "General Collection" are shelved on the second through fourth floors. Guides to shelving areas are in the elevators and at the Reference Desk.
DVDs, compact discs, equipment, and course reserves for music courses are kept behind the Education, Music and Media counter. Reference books, books, and music scores (printed music) are kept on the open shelves toward the southwest part of the Lower Level. Computers near the counter have Finale installed for music notation editing.
Information Services includes the reference desk and reference-by-appointment services. Sometimes they refer music questions to the music librarian, and vice-versa.
Interlibrary Loan. You can borrow articles, books, scores, CDs, or DVDs from other libraries through this office. From WorldCat or Multilink databases you can go directly to the Interlibrary loan request form.
Ask a Librarian. You can use chat, e-mail, the phone, or request a one-on-one consultation for help with library resources.
