From the Database to the Article

Follow these steps to go from searching the database to finding the article in the library.

  1. Search a database such as the Avery Index.
     
  2. Click on MultiLink BSU.

     
  3. If the library has access to an online copy of the article, MultiLink will display it.
     
  4. If the library does not have access to an online copy of the article, click on Interlibrary Loan/ILLiad to request a PDF copy of the article. OR, click on Check OneSearch for Print Availability in the University Libraries. If the Architecture Library or Bracken Library has the print journal OneSearch will lead to information about the library's holdings in CardCat. 


     
  5. If the library has the print journal, go to the shelf. Journals are in alphabetical order by title.

     
  6. If you requested a PDF copy of the article via Interlibrary Loan, look for an email notice with access instructions for the PDF in 1-7 days. 
     
  7. If you have any trouble finding an article ask at the Architecture Library Circulation Desk for help or contact the Architecture Library.
